Understanding large scale formations in the near Earth space such as the bow shock, magnetopause, and magnetotail require knowledge of processes occurring at various scales. Multipoint measurements of these mutliscale objects are expected to provide comprehensive information about these different scales, as well as help the in separation of temporal and spatial variations. Accumulated data allow reliable comparison of existing models with observations. The purpose of the meeting is to bring together theory and mutlipoint observations.
